Soft chicken in a silky garlic cream sauce
π Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme (optional)
- Fresh parsley for serving

1. Sear the chicken
Heat olive oil and butter in a pan.
Season the chicken with salt, pepper and paprika.
Cook 5 to 6 minutes per side until golden.
2. Make the creamy sauce
Remove chicken.
Add garlic to the same pan and cook 30 seconds.
Pour in broth and let it simmer for 2 minutes.
Add heavy cream and thyme. Stir until smooth.
3. Combine
Return the chicken to the pan.
Simmer 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
4. Serve
Top with fresh parsley.
Perfect with mashed potatoes, pasta or rice.
